By accessing or using RepairBrief ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RepairBrief is an AI-powered service that transforms automotive repair estimates and invoices into customer-friendly summaries. The Service uses artificial intelligence to extract, categorize, and summarize information from uploaded documents.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and complete registration information
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload documents you do not have the right to share
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Upload malicious content or malware
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. AI-Generated Content

The summaries and analyses provided by RepairBrief are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
  • Users should verify important information against original documents
  • RepairBrief does not guarantee the accuracy of extracted data
  • The Service is intended as a communication aid, not a replacement for professional judgment

6. Subscription and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. By subscribing:

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Credits expire at the end of each billing cycle (partial rollover may apply)
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion for unused service periods

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access until the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds will be provided for partial months
  • Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all documents you upload. By uploading content, you grant RepairBrief a limited license to process your documents solely for providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REPAIRBRIEF SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
